Overlooking the sea, Aldán was born, an exclusive corner of the Morrazo peninsula.

For centuries, its only inhabitants were fishermen who plied the estuary every day in their small boats.

Over time, this paradise, with its siren songs, has attracted the attention of travellers in search of an special place, of the few who have not been seduced by mass tourism.

This is how this unique enclave has maintained its essence, almost virginal, where local produce is king.

Aldán will survive us, pausing in time, to escape from everything, including ourselves.

Three halls look out to sea, linked by individual staircases to a common plinth that allows for different combinations of use.

Built as an inverted boat hull; structure, shape and construction are a single decision.

The three vessels are the ‘dead work’ (the hull of the ship). Inside, as a ‘living work’ (which can change and move without altering the capacity to sail), two boxes-furniture contain all the instruments.

They organise space functionally with the capacity for mutation.

‘Juancito, if the tide comes in, you have no problems! You turn the house upside down and you have three boats to sail! said a neighbour.
